inov3PT

Renamed in 2020, inov3PT (formerly RD3PT) is the new entity for the research, development and innovation activities of the French Federation of Seed Potato Growers (FN3PT), recognized as an Agricultural Technical Institute by the French Ministry of Agriculture.

The team is made up of 29 employees, spread over different locations in the seed potato growers organizations (Comité Nord, Achicourt), its partners research institute INRAE - UMR IGEPP (Le Rheu and Ploudaniel), CNRS - Institute of Integrative Cell Biology (Gif-sur-Yvette), University of Picardie Jules Verne (Amiens) and the ANSES Plant Health Laboratory (Angers).

The mission of inov3PT is to provide solutions and innovations to the actors of the potato sector (seed potato growers, seed potato growers organizations, certification laboratories, varietal creation and experimental platforms) in order to consolidate the advantages of the French seed potatoes as well as to transfer the results and develop their impact.

 

The scientific work of inov3PT focuses on a resarch, development and innovation program for seed potatoes for the period between 2023-2027 structured in three thematic axes and four transversal objectives.
